On Friday, Dylan Johnson, Keanan Sperling, and Kevin Stringfellow scored third period goals to break open a close 3-2 game. Logan Calanchie, Kurtis Decker, Josh Herman, and Scott Woytas rounded out the scoring for the Buffs, who improve to 2-and-0.

On Saturday, three goals in a five minute span late in the second put the game out of reach as the Tigers increased a 4-1 lead to 7-1 on their way to victory but the real story was Dawson Springer.
Springer tallied a league single game record six goals and finished with eight points. Ryan Regel added a goal and five assists while Odgers produced a hat trick and four points.
Dylan Haney added two with Tibbatts also hitting the score sheet.
