WARRIORS, TIGERS CONTINUE WINNING WAYS

In a rematch of last year's championship final series, the Rocanville Tigers continued their winning ways by downing the Theodore Buffalos 7-3, thanks to two goals two minutes apart midway through the third period that put the contest out of reach.

The Tigers held a 4-3 advantage after forty minutes with Massen Ziola breaking the deadlock in the final seconds of the middle frame in what would, ultimately, be the winning goal.  Noah Lemoine's second of the game at 8:49 made it 5-3 and then Dylan Haney's powerplay goal at 10:52 put the contest out of reach.  Ryan Regel scored with time winding down to cap the scoring.

Lemoine and Ashley Howie both finished with a pair of goals and three points while Regel and Haney also contributed three points on the night.

Tony Roebuck paced Theodore with a pair, scoring both in the second period that brought the Buffs back from 3-1 to 3-3.  Derrick Schwartz had the other goal for the Buffs, who fall to 8-and-2 on the year.  The Tigers are 11-and-1.

The Langenburg Warriors improved 9-1-and-1 with a 6-4 decision over the Wapella Blackhawks.  

Rylee Zimmer broke a 3-3 tie in the first minute of the third and then Brock Trotter added an insurance goal before Zimmer finished off the scoring late.

Nick Carlson added a pair and Brock Nixon notched a single to round out the scoring for the Warriors.

Riley Holloway led the Hawks with a goal and two assists.  Evan Armstrong and Dawson Garvey picked up a goal and an assist for the Hawks, who drop to 3-6-and-1.  Sterling Bear had the other Wapella goal.
