The Theodore Buffalos won their eighth straight game on Wednesday night, blowing out the Canora Cobras 9-0, at home, as they move closer towards sewing up first place for the playoffs.
Mike Rogoschewsky did the bulk of the damage, scoring four times on the way to victory.
The Buffs connected twice in a short span midway through the first and never looked back from there as Warren Shymko earned the shutout.
Dylan Johnson scored twice and had three points while Derrick Schwartz scored once and also picked up three points. Scott Woytas had four helpers. Dalane Lamb and Blaine Thomson scored connected for Theodore.
The Buffs host Rocanville on Friday after dominating the Tigers 6-1, in Rocanville, on Sunday.
Friday will also be a special night as long-time official Garry Gawryliuk has announced his retirement. There will be a pre-game ceremony so fans are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early.
